Year 5 - St Josephine Bakhita

Welcome to our Year 5 class page!

The teachers of Year 5 are Mrs Gallaher and Miss Parkes. They encourage Year 5 pupils to explore and love learning through the many topics and books we study such as space, Anglo Saxons and Scots and the different biomes around the world. 

Year 5 pupils are encouraged to be responsible and helpful around the school and to volunteer to be prefects. Their roles involve supporting EYFS and KS1 children at lunchtimes and serving other pupils in the dining room. 

There is a one night residential trip to SPEC (Spiritual and Personal Encounter with Christ) in the summer term which is a time of meditation, creativity and spiritual enlightenment. 

Many happy memories are made in Year 5.
